Farewell, Cold War

As Fidel Castro stepped down from the helm of Cuba, one of the last structures of cold war ceased to exist.

Another signal of the end of an era was Kosovo's independence - now the socialist Yugoslavia is only a chapter in the history book.

It took almost twenty years after breaking the Berlin wall to vaporize the confrontation of the Western and the Eastern block. I think it's safe to say that the time has changed.
